For the past 20 years, my primary career has been a designer and importer of home accessories, furniture, and antiques. And although this has exposed me to countless styles and interpretations of classic designs, it has been as far from what I create myself as you can get. It is, in plain and simple terms, disposable furniture made for a disposable world. That’s fine for paying the mortgage, but not how I truly want to leave my mark on the world. It is my naive wish that there are still those out there that wish to have pieces made today become the antiques of tomorrow.

That is what motivates me to continue a tradition I wish to never fade away. As a small independent furniture maker I offer a level of creativity, flexibility and an attention to detail not commonly found in larger shops. I thoroughly enjoy and take great pride in my work. Every piece of my furniture is made by hand, made to order, and made to last. With attention to detail and reliance upon traditional joinery you can expect a piece of furniture I build to last generations and continue to grow and evolve as the time, light and the elements enhance its cellular structure. Wood is alive, and regardless of its final shape and form, will continue to grow, change and mature. This is something to embrace, not fear or constrain.
